About Us
Creating a More Vibrant Rowan County Through the Arts
The Rowan Arts Council believes a thriving arts community makes Rowan County a stronger, more vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
We support and celebrate the visual and performing arts by connecting artists, organizations, residents, and visitors with opportunities to create, experience, and participate in the arts.
Supporting the Arts. Inspiring Our Community.
Through funding, advocacy, partnerships, events, and creative opportunities, the Rowan Arts Council works to strengthen Rowan County’s arts and cultural community.
We help connect local artists and organizations with resources, encourage arts experiences throughout the county, and create opportunities for people of all backgrounds to engage with creativity.
Our work is centered around a simple idea: when the arts thrive, our community thrives.
